In October 2012, we participated in Salon VAD, the largest e-commerce exhibition in France and in the BENELUX region. Together with our French partner, Rentabiliweb | Be2bill, the first French payment solution dedicated exclusively to e-commerce, we presented our innovative online payment solutions, designed to enable local e-merchants to process Cartes Bancaires transactions within the international e-commerce arena.
Besides introducing our partnership and its benefits for the French market, we also talked about how to grow within the local e-commerce setting through proper PSP relationships. In our joint presentation with Be2bill, we addressed cross-border payments and we explained to the French e-merchants, interested in growing their business and extending their geographical footprint, what the complexities are in different regions across the world with acquirers, PSPs and other players within the payment landscape. This enabled us to present our joint solution which resolved the complexities of cross-border card processing for French e-merchants. Moreover, being present at VAD e-commerce expo, we found out about new interesting trends, watched relevant simulations and heard international opinions and views.
Thus, we were very happy and proud to bring our contribution to such a lively and inspiring fair. Over the 3-day exhibition, we met many French and international experts, who offered a comprehensive vision of emerging trends and technologies in the e-commerce sector. VAD e-commerce expo gathered great companies, renowned for their capacity to innovate and put forward a new approach to e-commerce landscape.
One trend came out as notably significant: more and more players are opening “brick-and-mortar” stores, while simultaneously traditional retailers are taking on digital strategies, making increased use of online procedures to create traffic and attract new customers from all over the world. As, over the past decade, Payvision’s global payment network facilitated our understanding of how to make cross-border e-commerce domestic and profitable, it was a great opportunity for us to talk and think about how to eliminate borders and expand global presence.
In addition, we invite you to watch an interesting interview on Locita, a well-known French news website, present at the event, too:
So, we were proud to bring our contribution to the evolution of the French e-commerce market by partnering with Be2bill and offering suitable online payment solutions for processing Cartes Bancaires transactions, to all e-commerce merchants in France who plan to expand and start processing cross-border payments.
